Case study
- My role
- I customised the Shopify theme in Liquid: collections, wine pages and footer.
- Duration
- October 2025
The problem
The client needed a polished wine shop they could manage themselves, without custom development to maintain over time.
What I did and why
- Liquid theme customised on the pages that matter: collections and wine pages.
- Collections by type with filters for type, price and denomination.
- Block-based footer with images, text and links, configurable from the admin.
- Settings from the admin: banners, logo and image sizes without touching the code.
- SEO and images: meta for every collection and responsive images.
Results
- Shopifyshop, payments and orders ready to go
- Liquidtheme configurable from the admin
- SEOdedicated meta for wines and collections
Stack highlights
- Shopify
- Liquid
- SCSS
Working on something similar? Let's talk.
Get in touchOn Shopify the shop, payments and orders are already solved: my work was the theme. Collection pages with their own layout, wine pages with description and technical data, a configurable block-based footer and settings the client changes from the admin, such as banners and image sizes.
What I bring to an agency or a small business from this project
- Shopify when it is the right tool, instead of a custom e-commerce to maintain.
- Custom Liquid themes the client can configure.
- Care for SEO and images even on a closed platform.
